Alina Raczkiewicz Bęc, born in 1958.
She graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Zamość. In 1979-80, she studied at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She spent the years 1980-86 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She received her diploma with honors in 1986 in the studio of Prof. J. Nowosielski. She works in painting. She lives and works in Krakow.
She has had numerous solo exhibitions, including: 1989 - Plastyka Gallery, Krakow; 1990 - Mały Rynek Gallery, Krakow; 1993 - Frank Gallery, Tulln, Austria; 1994 - Dominik Rostworowski Gallery, Krakow; 1995 - Promocyjna Gallery, Warsaw; 1996 - Mała Galeria, Nowy Sącz; 1997 - Otwarta Pracownia, Krakow; 1998 - Galeria Mariana Gołogórskiego, Krakow; 1998 - Galeria Uniwersytecka, Cieszyn.
Her works are in the collection of the National Museum in Krakow and in numerous private collections.
