In addition to his work at the Cracow Academy of Arts, W. Kunz worked as a painter and in the field of graphic art as a lithographer. Characteristic of his work is the dominance of white color and the addition of collage-like elements. Participant of the Biennale São Paulo and in 1969 winner of the Madrid Art Biennial.
His works are in important collections, i.a. National Museum of Krakow, Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw, Guggenheim Museum, Kunsthalle Hamburg and Nuremberg.
