Edmund Piotrovich (1915 Kherson - 1991 Warsaw). Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He worked as a teacher at the State High School of Theater Techniques in Warsaw and at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. In 1960-1972, he exhibited regularly at the Biennale (since 1966 International) of Graphics in Cracow. He participated in numerous other group exhibitions at home and abroad, and had many solo exhibitions. He was active in ZPAP, and was a member of the Association of Polish Marine Artists (since 1968). Winner of the Prize of the Minister of Foreign Trade for marine art in 1974. He practiced printmaking (metal techniques, mainly dry needle) and painting.
