Philippe Morisson (1924–1994) was a French self-taught artist renowned for his contributions to geometric abstract painting. Born in Deauville, he initially painted figurative landscapes and portraits before transitioning to pure abstraction in 1945. In 1961, he joined the prestigious Galerie Denise René in Paris, remaining a prominent member for over 50 years.
