Pierre Garcia-Fons, born on July 30, 1928 in Badalona and died on July 30, 2016 in Paris 18e, was a French painter, lithographer and sculptor of Catalan origin.

Married to Olga Caprani i Cufi, they have 2 sons: Tristan born in 1953, who became a child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, and Renaud born in 1962, a double bass player and composer. The couple live in Paris, in the Montmartre-aux-artistes housing estate at 189, rue Ordener. They nevertheless retain and nurture their Catalan roots in Villeneuve-la-rivière (Pyrénées-Orientales). “For an artist, finding a quality solution and the means to house the family, paint and present his work in progress is an imperative”.
