Agnieszka Dutka, born in 1959 in Kraków. Currently lives in Kraków.
Agnieszka Dutka – Polish visual artist, graphic artist, creator of art objects, Doctor of Arts in the discipline of fine arts, and author of published literary works. She is the daughter of Renata Dutkowa and Leszek Dutka. Her husband is the artist Andrzej Kapusta.
She graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (1977–1982). She worked as a graphic designer at Gazeta Wyborcza in Kraków from 1993 to 2009. Since 2009, she has been working at the Faculty of Art of the Pedagogical University of Kraków in the Institute of Graphic Arts and Design as a university professor, and served as Vice Chair of the Council for Fine Arts and Art Conservation at the Faculty of Art of the Pedagogical University of Kraków for the 2019–2023 term.
While practicing artistic printmaking using intaglio and digital techniques, she expands her artistic practice to include other strategies used in contemporary art (objects, assemblages). Her print series form sequences of larger artistic projects.
